As Africa continues to play an increasingly strategic role in the global energy landscape, the need for deeper collaboration, stronger institutions, and practical innovation has never been more critical.
The recently concluded African Petroleum Producers’ Organization Forum in Abuja provided a timely platform for this conversation, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and research institutions to align on the future of energy across the continent.
A key theme that resonated throughout the forum was clear: Digitalisation is no longer optional; it is central to efficiency, cost optimisation, and informed decision-making across the energy value chain.
