CypherCrescent Limited’s Technical Director/CEO, Engr. ThankGod Egbe, participated in a Fireside Chat at the TechBusiness Forum during the 43rd NAPE Annual International Conference & Exhibition in Lagos. The session, focused on “The CEO Perspective: Technology Investments that Transform ROIC in Nigerian Assets,” explored how strategic technology adoption can enhance returns on oil and gas assets rather than adding disconnected solutions. Engr. Egbe shared the development story of SEPAL WRM, our flagship well and reservoir management platform designed to eliminate subsurface operational inefficiencies and support data-driven decisions through a unified source of truth. He also highlighted our patented Gas-to-Liquid (GTL) initiative leveraging the Fischer–Tropsch process as a key contributor to gas monetisation and Nigeria’s Decade of Gas agenda. Joined by other industry leaders, the discussion reinforced the vital role of technology in transforming asset performance, and we remain committed to driving such advancements for operators across the sector.

Earlier today, our Technical Director/CEO, Engr ThankGod Egbe, joined other industry leaders for a Fireside Chat during the TechBusiness Forum themed, 'Technology as a Force Multiplier: Maximising Nigeria's Energy Resources' of the ongoing 43rd NAPE Annual International Conference & Exhibition at Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos.
The Fireside Chat, which focused on 'The CEO Perspective: Technology Investments that Transform ROIC in Nigerian Assets,' had the panellists share their perspectives on the contributions of technological acquisition and adoption to increased ROIC for oil and gas assets, rather than adding to the tally of different disconnected solutions by operators.
He shared the journey which led to the development of our flagship product, SEPAL WRM (Well and Reservoir Management), which eliminates operational inefficiency between subsurface teams, serving as a single source of truth for all subsurface interpretations and data, for better understanding of these assets by the team, ease of assets' information retrieval, and better data-driven decision to be taken on assets.
He also highlighted CypherCrescent Limited's patented Gas-to-Liquid (GTL) initiative leveraging Fischer-Tropsch's process, the value this brings to curbing gas flaring, and the contribution it holds towards Nigeria's Decade of Gas initiative as a gas monetisation approach.
Other panellists on the Fireside Chat were: Sola Olugbemiga, who represented Dr. Ebenezer Ageh, Rob Holden, and the keynote speaker, Engr. Ehimhen Okoh-Agunloye, who represented AbdulRahman Mijinyawa. The course of the session was steered by the amiable Biyi Akinosun as the moderator.
